How to Use Discord: A Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners

 

Step 1: Download and Install Discord

1. On PC/Mac:

   • Go to discord.com and click "Download for Windows" (or Mac).
   • Install the downloaded file and open the app.

2. On Mobile:

   • Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
   • Search for "Discord" and install it.

Step 2: Create a Discord Account

1. Open Discord and click "Register".
2. Enter:
   • Username (Pick a unique name).
   • Email address.
   • Password.
3. Click "Continue" and verify your email.

Step 3: Join a Server

1. Click the "+" button on the left sidebar.
2. Choose "Join a Server".
3. Enter an invite link (e.g., a link sent by a friend).
4. Click "Join".

Step 4: Navigate the Interface

• Servers: Listed on the left sidebar.
